Grateful for flowers and brekkie in bed, a beautiful painting gifted by my honey, a run to the beach, beach play with the girls, gorgeous day, lunch with a & m @ pelican inn, massage in afternoon, and a quiet evening at home. Perfect day, so blessed.

Mamma Day

Grateful for a morning with my girls, happy and free.

Sunny SF

When it's bright and sunny in San Fran, it's a grand place to be. Grateful for a run with the girls and Angus around Crissy Field + beach play this morning, and Park Chalet/ocean beach excursion this arvo. The city was alive and humming!

Spontaneous Evening

Grateful for a spur of the moment invite to join friends for dinner on the Sausalito waterfront this evening. Brilliant sunny evening, kids running around, delish fish tacos, and relaxed, cheerful company. Feeling blessed by my community - of people, of place.

Brother + Bachelor

Grateful for my kind brother who came to my house after the girls were asleep for a little while so I could go grocery shopping. So generous. 

And also for the season finale of the Bachelor, which gave me the perfect dose of escapism for the evening.

Thankfully, two very different men.

Mammas-in-Arms

So grateful to have a good mamma friend who was also happened to be without her husband this weekend. What might have been a long, lonely Sunday was instead filled with a great hike, joyful kids, communal lunch, and dinner out to boot. I was tired and probably not the most cheerful company, but at a certain point friendship goes beyond entertainment value. Feeling blessed to have familial friends, especially in the absence of family.
