Mammas-in-Arms

So grateful to have a good mamma friend who was also happened to be without her husband this weekend. What might have been a long, lonely Sunday was instead filled with a great hike, joyful kids, communal lunch, and dinner out to boot. I was tired and probably not the most cheerful company, but at a certain point friendship goes beyond entertainment value. Feeling blessed to have familial friends, especially in the absence of family.
